MSN convos are such a weakness. Was talking to *Alystar when she exclaimed at random, "Draw Steampunk Skore!!" Well, the finished result doesn't entirely look as Steampunk as the first attempt I made, the first attempt looked horrible! so I went with this one. Am so glad I did~ The background spent a lot of swapping previews between Aly and I before it reached this state--I don't think I've modified a background that many times in my entire life @.@ But I do rather like the finished result. It's hard to see, but there's a train there. Train was fun---Love love train. Also love love steampunk amp~ ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Skore belongs to *Alystar from her Broken Horizon.
There is one word that comes to mind when I see this: AMAZING. I absolutely LOVE the cell style shading, especially in the hair. The lighting you chose is absolutely GORGEOUS, and the drawing itself is so very well done!
I like the smoke coming across the bottom, it adds SO much to the picture, although it's only a small aspect. Another thing that was kept quite simple, but really makes the picture pop is the background! It's very well done, though very simple, and it's not SO amazing that it takes away from the picture itself.
I REALLY enjoy how you did the clothing and all the golden sections. As for the style, I really like how it seems to be a slight mixture of anime/western.
The only thing that seems to stick out in a slightly negative way is the bend of the microphone. I'm not sure if it was intentional or not, but I'm very OCD, so I happened to notice. Otherwise the entire picture is awesome!
Sorry my review isn't the best, and is very repetitive but I thought this deserved a good word. c:
KWAH!!! Woah, this might be my favorite of all your gallery so far! I seriously am in love with the color palette, and that awesome, effective background! All the details on the clothes, his hair and eyes... Wow. It's seriously gorgeous. I really love this one, stunning work~
